Dr. Holser is a Grass Lake, Michigan native and has been practicing in Grand Rapids since 2004.
Dr. Holser is a graduate of Albion College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in biology. He received a doctorate in optometry from Illinois College of Optometry, the nation’s oldest optometric institution. He was elected to the prestigious Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society and awarded Honors for his clinical patient care skills.
Dr. Holser's optometric training includes ocular disease internships at the University of Chicago’s Bergman Eye Center, the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire, the Illinois Eye Institute, and Chicago Cornea Consultants. He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Sports Vision Section of the AOA, the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA, and the Michigan Optometric Association.
Dr. Holser lives in Ada and enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara, and children, Maya, Max, and Leah. Dr. Holser also enjoys travel, fishing, hunting, and sports.
